Honor’s MagicBook series flew off the virtual shelves on JD.com during 618, China’s mid-year shopping festival. The MagicBook 14 and MagicBook Pro hit a sales volume of 10,000 units within eight minutes of the sale.
In Malaysia, the Honor MagicBook also made a stunning debut early this year, selling out within 15 minutes after sales opened.
Honor is set to bring the new MagicBook 14 to Malaysia on 6 July 2020.
The MagicBook 14 is a compact, lightweight notebook weighing just 1.38kg. It features a 14-inch FullView display with ultra-thin 4.8mm bezels.
It’s similar to the MagicBook 14 that was launched in April, but powered by AMD silicon.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Ryzen 5 3500U processor with Vega 8 Graphics, 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.
It comes with Magic-Link 2.0 for seamless interconnectivity between the notebook and smartphones.
Keeping things juiced is a long-lasting 56Wh battery while a 65W USB-C fast charger can replenish up top 46 percent battery in just 30 minutes.
No pricing as yet, but expect it to be a tad lower than the MYR2,299 Intel MagicBook 14.
Stay tuned for 6 July.
