Here comes a new challenger in the compact SUV segment—the Perodua Ativa. Only known as the D55L up until late Friday, the Ativa SUV introduces several novel features for a Perodua vehicle. Available for booking now, it is priced between MYR62,500 and MYR73,400, on-the-road without insurance, with sales tax exemption (SST).
Perodua’s much-anticipated B-segment SUV is finally in the open. The yet-to-be-named “D55L” SUV, (widely rumoured to be the “Perodua Ativa”) is now open for booking with prices estimated to be between MYR62,500 and MYR73,400 (OTR w/o insurance with SST exemption) as revealed by Paultan.

Honda Malaysia today made a surprise announcement to open booking for the New CR-V at all its 101 dealerships nationwide. Riding on the success of its premium sibling, the Proton X70, the new SUV punches well above its class and is expected to be competitively priced, although pricing details have not been officially revealed. Pre-order books will be open starting tomorrow, 16 September 2020 with a public city preview slated for 19 September onwards.

TREVO, a subsidiary of SOCAR Mobility Malaysia, is the latest app-based people-to-people car sharing marketplace. The mobility startup kicked off Phase 1 of its Proof of Concept (POC) exercise today with an MYR2 million investment, providing financial aid to new car-sharing hosts. It aims to encourage more people to participate in its year-long POC study by sharing their vehicles, in line with the Government’s effort to mitigate the people’s financial challenges through the PENJANA (Short Term Economic Recovery) plan.
