In the lead up to Computex 2023, Acer has just unveiled the Predator Triton 16, a new gaming laptop that’s jam-packed with power and features. The Triton 16 is powered by the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPUs, and it can be configured with up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM and two PCIe Gen 4 SSDs in RAID 0 configuration. The laptop also features a 16-inch (16:10) WQXGA 2560 x 1600 IPS display with 500-nits of peak brightness and a blistering 240Hz refresh rate, as well as support for NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and NVIDIA G-SYNC. It also offers a DCI-P3 100% color gamut which content creators and creative professionals will appreciate.

In terms of design, the Predator Triton 16 is a sleek and stylish gaming laptop which also wouldn’t look out of place in the office, thanks to its understated good looks. It has a thin all-metal chassis that’s just 19.9mm (0.7 inches) thick and weighs 2.09kg (4.6lbs), making it easy to take with you on the go. The laptop also has a backlit keyboard and a number of ports, including Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, and an SD card reader.

The Predator Triton 16 uses cutting-edge thermal capabilities to keep the components cool. It has a dual-fan system with custom-engineered 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D metal fans, and it also uses Acer’s Vortex Flow technology and liquid metal thermal grease on the CPU. These features help to ensure that the Predator Triton 16 can run at peak performance even when it is under heavy load.

The gaming beast offers gamers full control over their gaming experience. It has a dedicated PredatorSense utility app that allows gamers to customise the keyboard’s per-key RGB lighting, user interface, and management control systems. The laptop also runs on Windows 11 and comes with Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro (E2600+WiFi 6E 1675i) for super-fast, lag-free connectivity.

In sum, the Predator Triton 16 is a great choice for gamers who are looking for a powerful and portable gaming laptop. It’s also a good option for creative professionals who need a powerful machine for video editing, 3D rendering, and other demanding tasks.

The Predator Triton 16 will be available in North America in September, starting at USD1,799.99. In EMEA, it will be available in September, starting at EUR2,299.
