One million users and counting

Setel has just crossed the one million user mark, doubling its 2019 numbers. This is just one month after it embarked on its nationwide expansion in early February 2020.

Daily orders in February alone has shown a significant 85 percent increase from the previous month, said Iskandar Ezzahuddin, Chief Executive Officer of Setel.

Setel app

Best way to refuel

The seamless, frictionless e-payment solution, first introduced in 2018 at select Petronas stations is now available at over 700 Petronas stations across the country. This number continues to grow.

With Setel, you can easily search for a nearby Petronas station to refuel and make your petrol purchase right from the comfort of your car. The app is also integrated with Petronas’ Mesra Loyalty rewards system. You can also use Mesra points to pay for petrol directly from the app. Another useful feature is the fuel price update that is pushed through the app.

Unlike paying directly with a credit or debit card, there is no MYR200 hold for paying fuel. With Setel, you get a notification and an email of your receipt after each transaction. Additionally, you receive monthly statements to enable you to easily track your monthly fuel spending.

Setel has said it is exploring partnerships with car manufacturers to integrate the Setel app into a vehicle’s head unit for enhanced customer convenience.

Download and use Setel today

The game-changing Setel app can now be used at more than 700 PETRONAS stations nationwide. Download the app for free via the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Use code beu44 when you register to get MYR5 when you complete a petrol purchase of MYR30!
