Samsung’s latest flagship device is launching in less than two hours, but already details of local pricing and pre-order details have emerged.
As you know, pre-order for the Galaxy Note9 will start from 10 August, with the official consumer launch happening on 15 August 2018.
A Samsung ad published on Sin Chew’s e-paper however, has revealed more details of pre-order offers and pricing.
Unlike prematurely leaked by Lazada earlier, the new devices are more affordable with some enticing goodies thrown in.
It looks like Samsung really wants to push sales of this device after reported slow sales of the Galaxy S9 and S9+.
Great news for consumers then.
The entry level Galaxy Note9 128GB model will retail for MYR3,699 and not MYR4,299 as initially leaked.
The top end 512GB variant on the other hand will go for MYR4,599, a good MYR600 lower than expected.
To make even all the more enticing, Samsung will throw in a free Gear Sport for every purchase of the 128GB model (worth MYR1,219).
Meanwhile, buyers of the 512GB model will all take home a Gear Sport, free strap and wireless charger (worth MYR1,531).

Expect major telcos like Celcom, Digi, Maxis and U Mobile to announce similar pre-order offers as well.
Galaxy Note9 will be available starting 24 August 2018 in Malaysia and will be offered in Midnight Black, Metallic Copper with matching S Pen, and Ocean Blue with a Yellow S Pen.
