Pre-order the Galaxy Note9 from Celcom this Friday

Samsung Galaxy Note9 S Pen

Samsung’s latest and greatest flagship smartphone is slated for a global unveil on 9 August 2018. It looks like we won’t have to wait long to get our hands on it. Telco Celcom will be offering pre-orders immediately after the launch.

According to a Facebook post, Celcom says you can pre-order the Galaxy Note9 as early as 10 August 2018.

Expectedly, there are no details as yet, but judging from last year’s offerings with the Galaxy Note8, you can expect a 24-month contract on a FIRST postpaid plan of MYR98 and above.

As in the previous year, all other telcos like Digi, Maxis and U Mobile should offer pre-orders for the Galaxy Note9. As would retail partners like Senheng.

Based on all that’s been leaked (the latest is a product intro video), the Galaxy Note9 will retain the 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display found on its predecessor. It will also pack the same Exynos 9810 chip (or Snapdragon 845), mated to either 6GB or 8GB of RAM.

As leaked, the Galaxy Note9 will offer 128GB or 512GB of storage.

The big change will be the S Pen, now in a striking yellow. The famous stylus is said to have built-in Bluetooth connectivity.

Lazada Malaysia had earlier leaked pricing of the device on the official Samsung store, and will purportedly retail for MYR4,299 for the 128GB storage model and MYR5,099 for the top end 512GB model.

The Galaxy Note9 launch will be streamed live at 11PM (MYT) on Thursday, 9 August 2018.
