Since its introduction, the Acer “Nitro” family of devices has carved a niche amongst budget-conscious and casual gamers. Pushing that further is the new Acer Nitro 5 gaming notebook, now with quad-core AMD Ryzen power and latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 16 discrete graphics.
The Nitro 5 comes powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 3750H processor coupled with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 discrete graphics. The capable gaming notebook also packs 4GB DDR4 RAM (upgradable up to 32GB) and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD. An additional m.2 slot and HDD Upgrade Kit allow for further storage expansion.
Impressively, the Nitro 5 features a 120Hz 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display which ensures silky smooth, tear-free gameplay. The expansive display boasts an 80 percent screen-to-body ratio thanks to its superslim 7.18mm bezel design.
Next, Waves MaxxAudio advanced sound optimisation technology paired with Acer TrueHarmony delivers a better audio experience with better bass, dialogue and volume enhancement.
Keeping things cool even when playing the most intensive games are dual fans with dual exhaust ports complemented with Acer CoolBoost technology. Acer’s proprietary cooling technology increases fan speed by 10 percent and CPU and GPU cooling by nine percent compared to conventional auto mode.
For fast, uninterrupted connectivity, Killer Ethernet E2500 and Acer Network Optimiser manages bandwidth optimally as well as dramatically reduce connectivity issues.
Through NitroSense, you can monitor and manage component temperature, performance load, power usage and more—all at a touch of the NitroSense key.
Last but not least, the Nitro 5 packs an array of expansion ports including HDMI 2.0 and USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1.
