U Mobile has announced its mobile plans for the new 2020 iPhone SE, coming later this week. You can pick up Apple’s pocket rocket from as low as MYR499 with U Mobile’s Unlimited Hero postpaid plans.
The telco is offering all three models: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
U Mobile presents two options for you to own the iPhone SE—via a standard contract or UPackage instalment.
Standard contract
For the standard contract option, you have a choice of the Unlimited Hero P99 or P139 plan bundles.
With the P99 you can pick up the iPhone SE 64GB for MYR1,109, with a monthly plan commitment of MYR99 per month.
Meanwhile, with the P139, take home the iPhone SE 64GB for just MYR499, with a monthly plan commitment of MYR139 per month.
For existing customers who meet the eligibility criteria, upfront payment is waived upon registration. However, for new, port-in, and non-eligible existing customers, an upfront fee of MYR720 (P99: MYR30x24 months) or MYR1,056 (P139: MYR44x24 months) respectively, applies. The upfront fee will be rebated into the customer’s account across 12 months.

UPackage instalment
An alternative is via the 24-month UPackage instalment plan, also bundled with either the P99 or P139 plans.
For the P99 plan, you can take home the iPhone SE 64GB for MYR153 all-in monthly (MYR54 + MYR99).
On the other hand, with the P139, you can own the iPhone SE 64GB for MYR180 all-in per month (MYR41 + MYR139).
Note that advanced payment applies and total payment upon registration is MYR459 and MYR540 for the P99 and P139 respectively.
For both the standard contract and UPackage options, you can receive free GoInsure 3 personal insurance coverage worth up to MYR13,000 for up to 24 months. Interested customers must enrol online—available from 14 May for P99 and 22 May for P139.

The iPhone SE is also available for sale now via the Apple Online Store and Apple Store app. Additionally, you pre-order the device from Apple authorised resellers, as well as local telcos like Celcom and Digi.
