#SomebodyLikeMe Gets People Talking About HIV/AIDS

I found the campaign intriguing, and it was certainly an eye-opener seeing divided opinions, sometimes humorous even, to the questions I posted. It also makes me think how we sometimes choose to ignore the tough issues. Is it complacency? Ignorance? Or denial? Perhaps there’s a side of us that tells ourselves, “It could never happen to me.”

The campaign was indeed an eye-opener, and an insightful social experiment. I would certainly support and participate in something similar in the future. I do strongly believe education is key to happier lives and happier homes.

The #SOMEBODYLIKEME social campaign was recognised as a success, one executed wonderfully by Social Grooves.
