OPPO Find X officially finds itself in Malaysia, pre-orders start 17 July

Geeks rejoice. The sleekest and possibly coolest phone in 2018 officially sets foot in Malaysia today. You can pre-order OPPO’s futuristic flagship starting today, 17 July 2018.

The big surprise is the price. While it debuted at EUR999 at its global launch in Paris, OPPO has made it much more accessible to Malaysian folks – retailing at MYR3,699.

It will be available in only one configuration – 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, so it’s top notch. Colour options include Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue.

To recap, the OPPO Find X is all-screen, boasting a 6.4-inch Full HD+ dual-curved display that offers an incredible 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, the highest ever on any smartphone.

OPPO finds the best, most powerful processor it could from Qualcomm’s stable – the Snapdragon 845.

If that doesn’t turn you on, then the massive 3,730mAh battery that supports VOOC fast charging via USB Type-C.

Perhaps what will get your heart racing is the super special, uber cool mechanised retractable 3D camera system that keeps all three cameras neatly tucked in the main chassis when not in use.

The top section of the phone slides up when you launch the camera app or when you need to unlock the phone via facial recognition.

The cameras by the way, consists of a 16MP + 20MP f/2.0 shooters on the rear and a whopping 25MP selfie camera.

The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo with OPPO’s iOS-inspired ColorOS 5.1 on top.

OPPO also previewed the Lamborghini Edition which features the ground-breaking Super VOOC Charge technology. It fully charges up via USB Type-C in just 35 minutes. I know right, vroom.
