The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 AMD is in Malaysia—a versatile, inexpensive 2-in-1 convertible notebook that’s powered by AMD Ryzen and integrated AMD Radeon Graphics. Whether for work, play, or learn, the IdeaPad Flex 5 AMD has a mode to adapt to your needs.
Powering the device is up to the AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processor with integrated AMD Radeon Graphics. This is paired with up to 16BG of DDR4 3200MHz memory and up to 1TB PCIe m.2 SSD storage.
The sleek notebook rocks up to a 14-inch Full HD IPS display (1920×1080), boasting 250-nit peak brightness and 45 per cent of the NTSC colour gamut. A common feature on Lenovo notebooks, the IdeaPad Flex 5’s webcam also comes with a physical shutter to ensure complete security and privacy. There is also a fingerprint reader for quick one-touch authentication.
Weighing in at 1.6kg, the device is available in Platinum Grey, Charcoal Grey, and Light Teal.
The unique 360-degree hinge gives the device its ultimate versatility. Easily switch from notebook, tablet, tent modes to suit your style and usage. It also includes optional digital pen support for convenient note-taking and drawing.
The three-cell battery is good for up to 12 hours of use and supports Rapid Charge. Lenovo claims a 15-minute charge will give you up to two hours of battery life.
In terms of expansion ports, the notebook comes with 2x USB 3.1, a USB-C, HDMI 1.4b ports; 4-in1 card reader; and a headphone/mic combo jack.
Connectivity-wise, it offers 2×2 Wi-Fi 5 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2.
In the audio department, it offers dual speakers with Dolby Audio and a pair of noise-cancelling mics.
The IdeaPad Flex 5 AMD comes pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 and Windows 10 Home.
