Fitbit Alta keeps you fit in the most stylish way possible

Fitbit Alta

Fitbit, the de facto leader in the connected health and fitness market, has revealed its latest in its growing arsenal – Fibit Alta. The stylish, fashion-focused fitness wristband comes with a satin finish, stainless steel body and supports stylish interchangeable bands. The band is expected to hit Malaysian shores in March 2016.

Fitbit also recently announced the award-winning Fitbit Blaze – Smart Fitness Watch at CES 2016, Las Vegas.

The head-turning fitness band automatically tracks your activity all-day including exercise and sleep. With Reminders to Move, it nudges you to stay active throughout the day with visual feedback on your progress. Smart notifications pop up on the vibrant OLED tap display.

Get up, get going

If you’re one to sit at the office for long hours, it’s not going to be very healthy for you. Research shows your sedentary time will lead to slower metabolism and can lead to increase risk of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Fitbit Alta will encourage you to get on your fit and meet a mini-step goal of 250 steps each hour (2-3 minutes of walking). The cool thing is that it’s non-invasive, and you can set a “Do Not Disturb” mode when you’re in long meetings or appointments.

For added convenience, the Fitbit Alta automatically recognizes and records continuous movements. This includes walking, running, outdoor biking, as well as aerobic workouts like dance classes, cardio-kickboxing; and sports like football and tennis. W

My favourite bit of the Fitbit experience is the exercise goals. The Fitbit app helps you set goals and track them on a daily basis, with a weekly goal personalized to your fitness routine.

Fitbit Alta

Keep the Fitbit Alta on your wrist and it will continue to track you the entire day. That includes your sleep. See how well you’re sleeping (light and deep sleep) and even set silent, vibrating alarms.

In terms of design, the Fitbit Alta is easily customizable with interchangeable bands. Ranging from classic fitness bands to soft, premium hide leather bracelets with beautiful natural grain, you’ll always look stylish and fit.

The device itself features a satin finish, stainless steel with a quick-release feature. At launch, it will be available in silver stainless steel. Coming soon is a stunning, gold stainless steel finish.

If you want to take fashion a step further, there’s Tory Burch for Fitbit Alta – a line of Fitbit accessories that transforms your Fitbit Alta into a super chic accessory. Coming soon!
