Acerpure cool Malaysia: Pricing and availability

You may be familiar with Predator FrostCore and AeroBlade cooling technology but Acer’s got another cool thing up its sleeve. This time around, though, it’s centred around keeping you cool (and fresh) instead. Acerpure cool is a 2-in-1 air circulator and purifier equipped with a 3-in-1 HEPA filter paired with Ag+ Silver Coated Filter to keep your living/workplace fresh.

Announced at its next@Acer press event late last year, the acerpure cool is now finally available in Malaysia. With Malaysians staying indoors more due to the COVID-19 pandemic and related lockdowns, the timing could not have been more perfect.

I’m sure you’ve heard of air circulators such as the Vornado. The acerpure cool is that, and more. Much more. You see, aside for intelligently and efficiently circulating air in a room, it is armed with a 3-in-1 HEPA filter comprising a pre-filter, activated carbon filter and HEPA 13 main filter. It removes fine particles and impurities in the air, including pet hair and dander, dust as well as 99.97 per cent of 0.3-micron-pixel suspended particles and bacteria. It also isolates harmful gases and removes odours.

The Ag+ Silver Coated Filter has undergone extensive third-party laboratory tests to certify its efficacy in eliminating bacteria as well as effectiveness against the H1N1 virus.

The acerpure cool is minimalistic and modern, sporting an intuitive LED touch panel and child safety locks. It supports 90-degree up-down swing and 80-degree left-right oscillation and is able to project clean air up to 16m with full circulation in a 27m² room in just three minutes.

It’s powerful but remains discreet, with a silent mode as hush as 26dB.

The air circulator cum purifier is also armed with a PM1.0 air quality sensor which enables real-time indoor air quality monitoring displayed via three LED indicator lights (green, yellow and red).

The air purifier mode automatically adjusts to ensure better purification when poor indoor air quality is detected. It also releases negative ions to help remove harmful gases in the air such as formaldehyde as well as capture solid particles such as dust (PM2.5).

Pricing and availability

The acerpure cool is available at select Acer official online stores and Acer concept stores. It retails at MYR1,299 and will come with a free replacement HEPA filter worth MYR199 (while stocks last).

In conjunction with the official launch on 5 February 2021, Acer Malaysia is offering the acerpure cool for just MYR899 with a free HEPA filter worth MYR199.

Thereafter, the acerpure cool will be sold at a launch promo price of MYR999 with an extra HEPA filter from 6 until 9 February 2021.

Then, starting from 10 February 2021 until 31 March 2021, with purchase of any Acer notebook or desktop at select Acer official online stores and Acer concept stores will be entitled to purchase the acerpure cool at a special price of MYR999. A HEPA replacement filter worth MYR199 will be thrown in for free.
