As they say two heads lines are better than one. U Mobile has just announced its HERO+HERO promotion where HERO P70, P98, Unlimited HERO P78, P79 and P99 customers can get an additional HERO line for 50% off. This promo lets you subscribe for a second line for as low as MYR24 per month.
The second HERO lines applicable for the 50% off promo are P48, P68, P79 and P99.

As an example, I’m currently subscribed to the HERO P70 plan and I pay MYR70 per month. I can apply for a HERO P48 as my second line. I pay an additional MYR24 for a total of MYR114 per month for the two lines. In summary, I save MYR288 in a year.
The savings is in the form of a monthly rebate that’s pro-rated according to the active days of your second line upon activation.
For example, if your line is activated on 15 January and your next bill date is on 1 February, your second line’s monthly access fee and entitled rebate will be pro-rated on February’s bill.
To qualify for HERO+HERO, you’ll need to be already subscribed to a HERO P70, P98, Unlimited HERO P78, P79 and P99 line; or iPlans and Ultimate Device plans with a minimum monthly access fee of MYR70 and above. If you’re not, you can switch from upgrade from existing plan to qualified plans or subscribe to a new plan.
If you’re not currently a U Mobile customer, you can also port-in.
Note that both plans must be registered under the same ownership (customer name and NRIC). A standard full amount of upfront payment will be collected upon registration, and advanced access fee will be charged to your account.
To sweeten the deal, eligible HERO+HERO customers will also enjoy three months complimentary subscription to GOLIFE 10, U Mobile’s first life micro insurance product. A qualified customer will receive an SMS to opt-in to the insurance coverage.
The HERO+HERO promotion starts from 16 April and ends on 31 July 2018.
