If you haven’t download the Touch ‘n Go (“TNG”) mobile app, used the eWallet feature, added your physical Touch ‘n Go card(s), or all of the above, it’s time to do so. Touch ‘n Go is offering 20 percent toll rebates when you use its Pay Direct feature which allows you to make toll payments by deducting your eWallet balance when you use a physical TNG card at the toll booth.
TNG is offering an instant 20 percent rebate to your eWallet for a total of 10 trips. The maximum toll fare amount eligible is MYR3.00, which translates to a maximum rebate of MYR0.60 per transaction.
You can either tap a physical card at the toll booth, or you is with your SmartTAG. This offer is also extended to TNG RFID users as well.
That aside, TNG is also offering rebates for user referrals. When you refer friends to sign up for TNG eWallet, both you and your friends will be rewarded with five times toll rollback. You can refer up to 10 friends for a possible 50X toll rebates.
While you won’t enjoy continued referral rebates on the 11th referral, your referee will still be rewarded with five times 20 percent toll rebate upon successful registration.
The duration of this campaign is 21 February 2019 until 30 June 2019.
TNG first rolled out the Pay Direct feature in December last year, and can now be used on DUKE, LKSA and Smart Tunnel toll plazas. The company plans to extend this feature to cover all highway networks in the Klang Valley by end of this year.
For added convenience, the TNG eWallet also supports auto-reloads via credit card, so you’ll never be caught without credit. You can set the amount to reload based on a preset minimum balance.
Through the app you can also check the last five TNG card transactions, as well as email card transactions of up to 90 days.
