Honda Civic and BR-V now in Platinum White Pearl

Honda Malaysia has introduced a new colour option—Platinum White Pearl—to two of its popular vehicles, the Civic and New BR-V. The new colourway replaces White Orchid Pearl first introduced on the Odyssey and 10th Generation Accord.

According to Honda, White Orchid Pearl is a popular colour among Honda customers, accounting for 38 per cent and 25 per cent of the total sales of the 10th Generation Civic and New BR-V respectively.

The Platinum White Pearl colour that rolled out with the Accord early in the year received good market acceptance, accounting for 33 per cent of the sales of this model.

Honda Malaysia’s second best-selling model—the 10th Generation Civic continues to dominate the C-segment with a market share of 79 per cent (as of July 2020).

The sleek sedan offers dynamic performance and excellent fuel economy, with its powerful 1.5L VTEC turbocharged engine generating 171bhp and a maximum torque of 220Nm.

Keeping the vehicle, driver and passengers safe at all times is Honda’s Next Generation Advanced Safety Technology—Honda Sensing as well as Honda LaneWatch. Read more about the 10th Generation Civic in this announcement post.

Meanwhile, the New BR-V is the undisputed leader of the non-national MPV segment. Since its introduction in 2017, more than 38,000 units of this versatile full seven-seater crossover have been sold. One of the favourite features among Malaysians is the multiple seat configurations featuring 60:40 One Touch Tilt & Tumble in the second row and 50:50 Tilt & Full Tumble in the third row.
