Spotify Premium now free for first 3 months

Spotify Premium

If you’ve been enjoying Spotify and have been holding out on upgrading to Spotify Premium, here’s a piece of sweet news. How about the first three months of Spotify Premium for free?

Previously, you could try Spotify Premium for 30 days for free. But the new offer will give you two months longer!

It’s available for first time users to Premium and you can sign up via Spotify.com/Premium

Spotify Premium will give you give you access to Spotify’s much loved features and its collection of 50 million tracks and 450,000 podcast titles, on-demand and ad-free. You’ll be able to download your favourite music and podcasts, and toggle between any device.

The first 3 months for free offer is a forever offer, meaning it’s always-on, and not a limited time offer. It’s available for individual users, as well as Family and Duo (not available in Malaysia) in the coming months.

Spotify also recently upgraded its Family plan, which rolled out in Ireland and will be available globally this fall.

As of end of June 2019, Spotify’s user base is now at 108 million Premium subscribers with 232 million total active monthly users.

The platform has Apple’s rival music nipping at its butt although Spotify still leads in both paid and free subscribers. In comparison, Apple Music had 60 million subscribers as of June, including users on its three-month free trial. Apple Music reportedly passed Spotify in paid subscribers in the US in April, with worldwide and US growth rates higher than Spotify’s.
