New Astro Ulti Box offers HD entertainment plus broadband connectivity for less

AT - TIME

Following the success of its 4K UHD Ultra Box, Astro is introducing the Ulti Box, an affordable, connected set top box that lets you enjoy HD quality entertainment as well as broadband connectivity.

The new Ulti Box is a sleek, compact set top box (STB) with HD and Wi-Fi capabilities that comes with a brand new remote control.

As an Ulti Box customer, you’ll enjoy the same features available on the Ultra Box when you’re connected to your home Wi-Fi. This includes streaming videos on demand, convenient cloud recording, and crisp HD content.

For existing non-Ultra Box customers, they can swap to the Ulti Box for just a MYR49 installation fee. This fee is otherwise MYR99 for new customers.

The new STB comes with Wi-Fi which lets you enjoy Astro & Broadband bundles for less, and the convenience of paying an all-in-one bill. Furthermore, customers can connect with Astro & Broadband from as low as MYR6 per day for 100Mbps and enjoy up to 102 channels.

Just so you know, broadband connectivity is in partnership with Maxis broadband, with speeds of up to 800Mbps.

Once connected to the internet, customers can stream live Premier League and Champion League football matches, Korean dramas such as Mr Queen (TVN), crime dramas like Chicago P.D. S8 (AXN), and more.

Note that the Ulti Box is recommended for Astro Monthly Pack Subscriptions of less than MYR100. Customers with a monthly pack subscription fee of more than MYR100 are encouraged to upgrade to the Ultra Box for access to 4K UHD content.
