Smarter Christmas gifts: Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon and Yoga 9i

The year-end holiday season is coming and what better way to celebrate than to own a piece of smarter tech. The Yoga Slim 7i Carbon and Yoga 9i are two exciting debutants from Lenovo this year-end quarter, bringing unbelievable ultra-portability, powerful performance and premium style.

[UPDATE] The Malaysian SKU Yoga 9i will come with 11th Gen Intel Core processors. Lenovo Malaysia has also confirmed pricing, starting from MYR6,499.

Yoga Slim 7i Carbon

Introduced globally in October, the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon is the epitome of style and performance. Built on the new Intel Evo platform, it weighs just 966g, with a sleek profile of just 14.25mm at its thinnest point.

It boasts a 13.3-inch QHD 16:10 display housed in a stunning an anti-fingerprint, carbon fibre body finished in Moon White through a unique process involving three layers of high heat, and up to nine hours of painting.

The Intel Evo-certified device boasts up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe Graphics, up to 16GB LPDDR4X 4266MHz memory and up to 1TB NVMe m.2 PCIe SSD storage. It also features Intel WiFi 6, Thunderbolt 4 and up to 13 hours of all-day productivity with its 50Whr battery. Charging is via the bundled 65W power brick, which supports Lenovo Rapid Charge Boost.

It offers dual 2W Harman Kardon speakers optimised with Dolby Atmos and dual digital mics.

Yoga 9i

The Yoga 9i is the first Lenovo consumer notebook to feature an authentic black leather cover bonded with an aerospace-grade aluminium chassis.

Lenovo explains that it took a special 20-step bonding process to allow the leather to retain its original appearance with natural imperfections, the characteristic that makes each product unique.

This incredible eye for detail and craftsmanship are fused with the superfast responsiveness of the 11th Gen Intel Core processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics. For the performance-focused folks, the Yoga 9i can be configured to offer up to 10th Gen Intel Core i9 HK-Series mobile processor coupled with discrete NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti with Max-Q graphics.

What’s also unique is the edge-to-edge Glass Palm rest and encased Smart Sensor Touchpad. The unique touchpad that’s coated with a fingerprint-resistant finish, provides haptic feedback.

Thermal venting holes on the underside of the keyboard helps lower temperatures by an average of two degrees Celsius compared to the previous generation.

For peace of mind, Lenovo Premium Care offers 24-hour access to technical support, extended from 9am-9pm on-site services for 365 days.
