Samsung Galaxy S20+ Aura Red is here, minus Jenny

Samsung Galaxy S20+ Aura Red

Back in February, Samsung introduced a new sizzling colour for its Galaxy S20+–Aura Red. It was special for two reasons—it was called the Galaxy S20+ Jennie Red Edition (yes, Jennie from superstar all-girl K-pop band Blackpink) and it featured suped up internals and 5G support, exclusive to South Korea’s KT 5G network. Malaysian Blinks must have been crying foul but hang on a minute…Samsung Malaysia is now bringing the Aura Red model to Malaysia.

The catch? It’s not a “Jennie Red” edition. Regardless, Aura Red is the sixth colour edition of the Galaxy S20 series, complementing Cloud Blue, Cloud Pink, Cosmic Black, and the recently unveiled Cloud White.

The flaming hot new colour is certainly for those who want to stand out and for many Asians, bright red is an “auspicious” colour.

The big question is: Will Samsung bring a matching Aura Red Galaxy Buds+?

Internally, it’s everything you love about the Galaxy S20+–the bright, crisp 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display with 120Hz refresh rate, powerful quad-cameras, large 4,500mAh fast-charging battery (wired and wireless), One UI experience, as well as new camera capabilities like Space Zoom, Single Take, and 8K video.

The Galaxy S20+ retails for MYR3,999 (128GB) and is available at any Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Malaysia E-store.
