Qualcomm has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc, has added six new processors to its Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 family. The new entry-level processors feature dual- and quad-core CPUs.

The expanded line of processors were introduced to meet consumer demands in China and emerging markets. Manufactured on a 28nm process technology, they feature key modern technologies including support for HSPA+ (up to 21Mbps) and TD-SCDMA.

The processors add support for dual cameras, 8MP main camera and up to 5 MP front-facing camera and a single platform for all SIM variants including Dual SIM, Dual Standby and Dual SIM, Dual Active, and Tri SIM Tri Standby.

The latest additions also feature Adreno 302 GPU integrated graphics.

Qualcomm earlier announced a collaboration with LG Electronics (“LG”) to utilise its top-of-the-line, Krait 400 CPU class Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor for LG’s latest G series device.
