The OPPO F7 128GB features everything you’ll love about the OPPO F7. This includes the expansive 6.23-inch FHD+ display (2280z1080), big selfie camera with AI-powered enhancements, a powerful but efficient mobile processor and a signature OPPO design.
The high-spec version packs 6GB of RAM, compared to 4GB on the standard, and 128GB of storage as opposed to 64GB on the standard edition.
As far as cameras go, the OPPO F7 128GB features a whopper of a selfie unit – a 25MP f/2.0 single camera with AI Beautification features. The intelligent features are thanks to the 12nm octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 chip which boasts NeuroPilot AI technology. The chip has onboard face detection and AI-enhanced smart imaging and video.
The new camera can map up to 296 facial feature spots, 20 percent more than the OPPO F5.
It also has beautification for different facial zones and can optimise selfies based on gender, as well as Sensor HDR.
The back has a more run-of-the-mill 16MP f/1.8 single camera, but that’s not to say it’s shabby. There’s intelligent scene detection so it will optimise settings for different environments and situations.
The device packs a 3,400mAh battery that charges up via micro-USB. It runs Color OS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The high spec 128GB gets two unique colours: Sunset Red and Diamond Black. The Diamond Black treatment looks awfully familiar, by the way.
Pricing and availability
The OPPO F7 128GB will be available for pre-order from 23-27 April 2018. You can make a pre-order all OPPO Concept Stores, OPPO online store, authorised OPPO resellers and partner e-commerce sites like Lazada, 11street and Shopee.
It retails for MYR1,699. If you prefer the standard version, you can pick one up for MYR1,399.
