Hail the new Malaysia! The wind of true change is here! “We’ve lost, we’ve lost”, so says Pak Lah commenting on BN’s disastrous performance. The Opposition took 82 out of 222 available Parilamentary seats, the biggest win in history.

PKR leader, Dato’ Seri Anwar says triumphantly, “The people have expressed in no uncertain terms that they want accountability, transparency, and the rule of law.”

This is indeed a dawn of a new era for Malaysia. The power of the Rakyat! Hail the new Malaysia, hail the to all Malaysians for the future is bright!

Worst Movie of 2008 – In The Name of The King

IA - TIME

inthenameoftheking.jpg

I’m sorry to Jason Statham fans. But this has got to be and possibly the worst movie of 2008. I’ve never been a fan of The Transporter, the very movie that catapulted Jason to stardom. Not even the yummilicious Leelee Sobieski could save this unneccessary, appalling movie. Not the bad story. Nor the bad acting, casting, costumes, cinematography and script. I watched it all of five minutes before I deduced it as a complete waste of time. However, I gave it chance (maybe I shouldn’t have) for another 25 minutes to see if there was a chance it would improve. But heck no. It didn’t. And not since a very, very long time that I’ve walked out of a movie. This movie, unfortunately, (and fortunately for my sanity and sake of preserving my intelligence) deserves to be bludgeoned and condemned for what it is and what it represents (shit movies which waste your time and money). A complete waste of my RM11. And 30 minutes of my life.

iPhone Price Cut – An Open Letter From Steve Jobs

IA - TIME

Apple’s decision to cut pricing of the iPhone by USD200 recently, has not gone down well with early adopters who paid full price for their iPhones. Owners are crying foul at Apple for what seems to be a markdown for the holiday season. Apple has received plenty of flak for this move, prompting CEO Steve Jobs to step in with an open letter to all iPhone users.

Apple’s New iMac. Who says you can’t perfect perfection?

AT - TIME

I had the opinion that the previous iMac Intel form-factor was the perfect example of beauty and practicality. Perfect almost. (except for the dreaded Mighty Mouse). So how do you, or can you top that? How do you perfect perfection? Well, what do you know? The hardworking Apple Design Team has done it again. Not ones to be satisfied (ever! and ‘Amen’ to that), they’ve taken perfection to yet another level (Win PC manufacturers eat this!).

Gaming Nirvana – Logitech G25 Racing Wheel

IA - TIME

The closest thing to gaming nirvana. Gran Turismo 4, a 42″ Plasma TV and a Logitech G25. With 900 degrees of wheel rotation, realistic force feedback technology and real leather and metal, nothing currently comes close! Check out the 6-speed H-shifter and metal pedals (with clutch!). Truly awesome!
