Lenovo Legion Y920 is a super cool gaming tower powered by Asetek

Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower

Lenovo has just announced an epic partnership with liquid-cooling experts Asetek at gamescom 2017. Its latest Lenovo Legion Y920 Tower will feature optional integrated liquid cooling tech Asetek.

The edgy-looking gaming tower boasts overclockable power, yet stays cool, thanks to Asetek’s liquid cooling. Asetek’s liquid cooling system functions in a similar way to a car radiator.

Asetek explains that liquid wicks heat from an area and transports performance-robbing heat to a heat exchanger.

Asetek Liquid Cooling

Traditionally, liquid cooling was a complex technology that involves fluid, tubing, and blocks. The downside of this is maintenance.

Asetek’s solution, on the other hand, uses a closed loop cooler that makes liquid cooling reliable, and most importantly, without sacrificing performance.

Higher CPU cooling performance means better gaming performance, better acoustics and better durability of components.

In the graphics department, there are plenty to choose from including the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB; GTX 1070 8GB; GTX 1060 6GB; and the AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB.

The tower has Oculus-certified hardware, and includes HDMI, USB 3.0 ports; 2×2 WiFi 802.11ac; Killer DoubleShot Pro WiFi; 10/100/1000M Killer DoubleShot Pro LAN; Bluetooth 4.0; and Dolby Atmos audio.
