Early last week, Intel Malaysia gifted a bagful of goodies at a pre-Christmas brunch with media and contest winners from its recent “Generation Today” campaign. Additionally, details of the just-launched “Trade up my PC” program was also revealed.
The “Generation Today” campaign launched in May, urging users to upgrade their old PCs to the latest touch-enabled devices powered by Intel processors.
“With the Christmas season just around the corner, it is very likely that most consumers have the latest gadgets and computing devices at the top of their wish lists,” said Sameer Tupaki, Marketing Manager, Intel Malaysia. “There have been many exciting products made available in the market since the launch of Intel’s 4th Generation Intel Core processor family earlier this year. We couldn’t be more excited to share them with our consumers especially through our PC trade-in program.”
Intel toasted winners of the contests under the “Generation Today” campaign at the event. Winners who walked away with a brand new ASUS FonePad include Luqman Rasat (Longest Touch Challenge Winner), and Arnold Cheong (Graffiti Touch Challenge Winner). Meanwhile, Koo Wai Hong and Leong Pui Yee were lucky recipients of a cool Vespa scooter worth RM12,000.
Intel Malaysia also officially kicked off its “Trade up my PC” campaign which involves a 14-city nationwide roadshow that runs from 5 December 2013 all through 31 January 2014.
Intel is giving a cashback rebate of up to RM650 for selected PC purchases. To qualify, customers must purchase on of the following products from SNS Network or ThunderMatch Technology between 1 December 2013 and 31 January 2014:
- HP Pavilion 14-n060TX (Mineral Black)
- HP Pavilion Touchsmart 14-n049TX (Silver)
- HP Pavilion 14-n059TX
