Rapidly-growing short-form mobile video platform TikTok has partnered iflix, Southeast Asia’s leading video-on-demand entertainment service. What? Why, you ask? Well, why not?
With the partnership, TikTok’s viral videos from around the world will be made available to millions of iflix customers in 13 countries around the world. The TikTok content will appear in a dedicated “iflix and TikTok present” channel, part of iflix Snacks, the entertainment service’s dedicated short-form channel.
The rising demand in short-form content makes it an opportune time for the coming together of the two leading brands.
For TikTok, the brand intends to increase awareness and exposure of its app’s offerings through top video compilations featured on iflix as a start. It has lined up a variety of different programmes for the rest of the year.
The partnership with TikTok is another step forward for iflix’s content strategy that reveres experimentation.
Aside from offering a wide range of TV shows, movies, hyper local originals across different categories, iflix users can now access entertaining and genuine short-form content on the platform.
