Sound X is Huawei’s dual-subwoofer Bluetooth home speaker

Alongside a slew of new notebooks and tablets, Huawei rolled out Sound X—a dual-subwoofer Bluetooth home speaker co-engineered with French audio master, Devialet. The speaker comes with every purchase of the flagship MateBook X Pro notebook, in limited quantities.

Founded in 2007, Devialet is a top three global audio brand, critically-acclaimed for its technological breakthroughs and cultural collaborations. The Paris-based audio specialist has collaborated with the Paris opera to create the Gold Phantom Opera de Paris limited edition model.

The Huawei Sound X’s craftsmanship and aesthetics have earned the 2020 German iF Design Award for its stunning design.

The speaker features Devialet’s patented signal-processing SAM (Speaker Active Matching) technology and iconic Push-Push symmetrical structure.

Dual subwoofers reproduce sound signals in real-time, and bass hits as low as 40Hz.

Working in tandem are six full range tweeters, creating a real 360-degree surround sound.

The speaker is certified Hi-Res Audio, so expect a full, enriching listening experience.

The OneHop Audio Sharing feature lets you connect your Android smartphone with a single tap. To mute the speaker, simply cover the top of the speaker and lift your hand to resume listening to your music.

The Huawei Sound X retails for MYR1,299 and is available in Starry Night colourway. It will go on sale starting 16 May via the Huawei official online store.
