Huawei MatePad
The all-new Huawei MatePad is a 10-inch tablet that weighs just 450g and comes in Midnight Grey.
The narrow-bezel design houses a 10.4-inch 2K display, certified by TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the 7nm Kirin 810 AI chip that comprises two A76 performance cores and six A55 efficiency cores. The integrated Da Vinci NPU handles all AI processing tasks and enables novel and sophisticated smart features. The device is laid with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
Keeping things juiced is a massive 7,250mAh that charges up via USB-C.
Multimedia aficionados will appreciate the quad speakers tuned by Harman Kardon. They support Histen 6.0 which drive 3D stereo sound effects. For video calls, the MatePad also integrates a quad-microphone array that supports noise reduction and sound pickup within five metres. Users can make use of Meetime, Huawei’s proprietary video-calling technology.
The MatePad supports the smart magnetic keyboard and Huawei M-Pencil. It’s also the first Huawei tablet to support eBook mode, where a user can adjust the contrast, brightness, definition, and saturation for optimised reading.
Being a Huawei device, the MatePad features Huawei Share, which allows for seamlessly connectivity and collaboration between Huawei devices.
The MatePad runs EMUI 10 based on Android 10.
MatePad T
For those on a budget, the MatePad T is the entry-level 8-inch tablet that’s powered by an octa-core processor, backed by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.
Keeping it juiced is a large 5,100mAh battery. The tablet is available in Deepsea Blue and weighs just 310g.
