Everyone’s favourite source of tasty leaks, @evleaks has released a rendering of HTC‘s wearable running Android Wear. HTC is one of Google’s hardware partners for smartwatches, alongside LG, Motorola and Samsung.
Based on the rendering, the HTC smartwatch could feature a square design and a metal strap. The UI on the rendering isn’t real, since Android Wear cannot be skinned having been locked down by Google. Only watch faces are open for customisation at this point.
No hardware specs detailed so far, but expect @evleaks to well.., leak when the time is right.
At this juncture, only the Samsung Gear Live and LG G Watch are on some limited hands while Motorola’s Moto360 should be coming shortly.
