Honor today announced the Honor MagicBook Pro and Honor Watch GS Pro in Malaysia. Both devices will be available in Malaysia starting 8 October on the Hihonor website, Honor Experience Stores (HES), partner stores and Honor official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
Earlier last month, the Honor MagicBook Pro and Honor Watch GS Pro picked up the prestigious Gold IFA-PTIA (IFA Product Technology Innovation Award) for High-performance Innovative Laptop and Outdoor Innovation Wearable, respectively.
Honor MagicBook Pro
The notebook boasts the 6-core, 12-thread AMD Ryzen 5 4600H processor with integrated Radeon Graphics, coupled with 16GB DDR4 dual channel RAM and superfast 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
Keeping things cool are dual fans and dual heat pipes, claimed to produce 20 per cent more airflow than traditional cooling fans.
The notebook houses a massive 56Whr battery, similar to the cell found on the MagicBook, with enough juice to last up to 11 hours on a full charge. It comes bundled with a 65W fast charger, which can charge up the battery from flat to 50 per cent in just half an hour.
The sturdy sandblasted aluminium chassis houses a large 16.1-inch FullView display within a 15-inch form factor, delivering an outstanding 90 per cent screen-to-body ratio with 4.9mm ultra-narrow bezels. The display delivers 100 per cent of the sRGB colour space, backed by 300 nits of brightness. It is also certified by TUV Rheinland for blue light filtering.
The notebook weighs just 1.7kg and measures 16.9mm thin. It comes in premium Space Gray colour option.
Honor has retained the polarising pop-up webcam that is built into the keyboard. A 2-in-1 power button with integrated fingerprint scanner enables quick biometric authentication without passwords.
The device is equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 port on the right; one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, one USB-C port and an HDMI port on the right.
In line with its other devices, the MagicBook Pro comes with Multi-screen Collaboration technology for interconnectivity with other Honor smart devices.
Honor Watch GS Pro
The rugged Honor Watch GS Pro is made for performance and the outdoors. Armed with incredible 25-day battery life, the watch is built tough, to MIL-STD-810G certification in fact.
The watch is powered by the energy-efficient Kirin A1 chipset which enables its long-lasting prowess. With GPS on, the Honor Watch GS Pro will still deliver an impressive 48-hour battery life, or 100 hours with outdoor GPS power-saving mode. The device can be fully charged in less than two hours.
It features high precision dual-satellite position systems which enables you to record your routes and enable the “Route Back” features once you’ve reached your desired destination.
The 1.39-inch AMOLED round display is encased with a stainless-steel bezel ring with a dial that is flushed with the casing.
Aside from hiking or mountain climbing, the watch also supports over 100 workout modes including open swimming, pool swimming, free training, triathlon, outdoor and indoor running, outdoor and indoor cycling, elliptical, rower, and trail running. Additionally, new skiing modes feature various skiing scenarios such as snowboarding and cross-country skiing.

The Honor MagicBook Pro and Honor Watch GS Pro will be available in Malaysia starting 8 October 2020 on the Hihonor website, Honor Experience Stores (HES), partner stores and Honor official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
The MagicBook Pro retails for MYR3,599 while the Honor Watch GS Pro is priced at MYR999. The Watch GS Pro is available in Charcoal Black.
