Following the launch of its fenix 5 range, Garmin has unleashed three new models in its expansive product range. Introducing the vivosmart 3, vivofit jr. and Forerunner 935.

Garmin vivosmart 3

Vivosmart 3: For the regular active

The slim and sleek vivosmart 3 is the first in the vivo range to boast a VO2 max indicator, a feature available only on higher end Garmin watches. VO2 max gives you statistical insight on your fitness level, including your fitness age. The feature is a great motivator, helping you push further for a higher level of fitness.

Vivosmart 3 also includes a rep counting capability, available as part of the Strength Training activity tool. Naturally, it tracks steps, heart rate, calories, distance and sleep. However, that’s not all. It also tracks activity intensity through Intensity Minutes.

Aside from tracking stats, the app also enables you to compete against friends online and earn virtual badges.

When it’s connected to your smartphone, the fitness tracker can also get notification alerts for emails, text, calls, calendar reminders, app alerts and social media updates. Also, you can control music on your smartphone via the watch.
