Get a free OPPO A57 with Celcom FIRST Plans

Starting 15 April 2017, Celcom is offering a free OPPO A57 exclusively its customers, two weeks prior to the official Malaysian launch.

Customers who sign up for the FIRST Platinum plan with 60GB data quota, will receive the entry-level “Selfie Expert” for free.

For those who subscribe to the FIRST Gold Plus plan, which is bundled with 40GB of data, can purchase the device at only MYR399 (RRP: MYR1,035.85).

OPPO earlier teased the new budget device, which will sport a 5.2-inch HD IPS display, octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor; and coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.

It packs a whopping 16MP f/2.0 front camera, while the rear features a 13MP f/2.2 shooter with PDAF.

The device packs a 2,900mAh battery and is available in Rose Gold and Gold colour options.

Celcom FIRST Platinum plan

To recap, the FIRST Platinum plan gives you a total of 60GB of data (30GB weekday + 30GB weekend). It comes with unlimited calls and SMS, unlimited social apps (WhatsApp and WeChat), unlimited Yonder music and unlimited access to iflix for 12 months. The plan costs MYR150/month, and the bundle is based on a 24-month contract. There’s an upfront payment of MYR800 which will be rebated in full in the first month.

Celcom FIRST Gold Plus plan

The FIRST Gold Plus plan on the other hand, gives you 40GB of data in total (20GB weekday + 20GB of weekend). Like FIRST Platinum, it will give you unlimited calls, unlimited social apps and free unlimited Yonder music. The plan will set you back MYR98/month, and the bundle is also based on a 24-month contract. There’s a MYR600 upfront payment, which will be rebated in the first month.

For both plans, you can combine weekday and weekend internet data with AnydayGB for a MYR10 monthly fee.
