Digi Home Broadband now as low as MYR45 monthly, up to 100GB data

Digi Home Broadband

With major telcos like Telekom Malaysia, TIME and Maxis bumping up fibre broadband speeds whilst making them cheaper, Malaysians can now enjoy more affordable connectivity. However, not everyone has the benefit of fibre optic infrastructure. For that, there’s wireless broadband solutions like Digi Home Broadband to serve those out of fibre broadband coverage.

The good news is that Digi is bumping up data quotas by up to 50 percent for both new and existing customers. The yellow telco is also offering the plans for cheaper rates – from as low as MYR45 monthly.

For the Broadband Monthly plan, Digi has increased quota from 15GB to 25GB. The Broadband Monthly 65 plan gets bumped up from 35GB to 50GB, while the top-of-the-range Broadband Monthly 105 plan gets an increase from 75GB to 100GB of monthly data quota.

Each plan also comes with up to 40GB of streaming quota. There are over 35 entertainment channels to stream from including YouTube, Netflix, iflix, astro Go, tonton, playTV@unifi, dimsum and more.

That’s not all. All existing Digi Postpaid subscribers will enjoy MYR5 or MMYR10 lifetime discounts when they sign up for Digi Home Broadband.

The data quota upsizing for existing customers will take effect on their next bill cycle. New customers will enjoy the upsized quotas upon sign-up.

Digi says customers can expect consistent internet speeds of at least 10Mbps for 4G LTE, and 20Mbps for 4G LTE-A.

Depending on the plan you choose, you will receive either a Huawei E5577s (LTE) or E5785 (LTE-A) mobile Wi-Fi device, or a Huawei B315s Home Wireless Router (BM 65 plan and above only). Note that there is a device upfront fee and a monthly device fee (MYR9 x 12 months) depending on plans.
