Astro is currently running a contest until 17 May to encourage more customers to download the Astro GO app. Stand a chance to win a vivo V17 Pro, among other things.
Astro’s mobile streaming app has seen a substantial spike driven by the complimentary access it has given to all Malaysians during the Movement Control Order (MCO). Astro revealed that monthly active users totalled more than 1.38 million in the last month.
The cable TV network revealed that it also observed a 37 per cent higher engagement rate for customers streaming on-demand content through Astro GO during the MCO period. Astro currently has over 50,000 on-demand titles in its catalogue.
With Astro GO, you can stream your content across four devices concurrently.
Astro customers have a chance to win bi-weekly prizes when they download Astro GO, including vivo V17 Pro smartphones and JD Sports cash vouchers worth up to MYR500. Three winners are picked randomly on a bi-weekly basis. The contest runs from 6 April until 17 May 2020.
