Vivo’s latest selfie-centric smartphone is here in Malaysia. Packing dual-front 32MP + 8MP cameras, amongst other things, the vivo V19 sets to appeal to the young and fashionable crowd.

Retailing at MYR1,699, the vivo V19 will be available starting 25 April 2020 on all major e-commerce platforms including the vivo online store, Shopee, Lazada, Senheng, SenQ, as well as telco and retail partners.

Official first sale details

You can buy the vivo V19 from Senheng and SenQ starting 26-30 April 2020 as part of its first sale promotion.

Each unit of vivo V19 will come with complimentary gifts worth MYR300 which include V19 exclusive Bluetooth wireless headphone, 10,000mAh powerbank, V19 premium umbrella, and vivo glass bottle.

That aside, buyers will receive a one-year extended warranty and enjoy up to 24 months 0 per cent interest instalment plan during the pre-sale promo period.


First sales on Lazada

Lazada is offering an exclusive first sale promotion today, 24 April 2020 ending at 11.59PM. Customers are entitled to a MYR50 cash voucher upon purchase of the vivo V19.

In case you miss this first sale promotion, Lazada is running more deals from 23-28 April where you stand to pick up free gifts worth more than MYR548 with each purchase of the vivo V19.


Free vivo V19 with Celcom

Starting 24 April 2020, when you subscribe to the Celcom MEGA Lightning XL postpaid plan, you’ll get a free vivo V19. The top-of-the-line postpaid plan gives you 100GB (30GB + 70GB) of monthly internet data, free roaming, and unlimited calls to all networks, for MYR188 per month.

The vivo V19 features a sleek, beautiful design with a prominent camera array on the back. It comes in Gleam Black and Sleek Silver colour options.

It rocks a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ OLED display which supports 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The phone is quite hefty, tipping the scales at 186.5g. Unsurprising, since it does pack a large 4,500mAh that supports vivo FlashCharge 2.0 (33W). Vivo claims a charge time of 0-54 per cent in just 30 minutes, which is impressive.

Under the hood, the vivo V19 doesn’t hide its mid-range underpinnings, engaging the services of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor. This is coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The phone delivers an enhanced gaming experience—boasting Multi-Turbo 3.0 for optimised touch control and lag-free gameplay. Its Ultra Game Mode also offers functions like Fast Screen Capture, Screen Recording, and Game Vibration.

In the camera department, the phone boasts a dual-camera setup on the front—a 32MP main camera and 8MP wide-angle camera, as well as a quad-cam system on the back. The rear setup consists of a 48MP main shooter, 8MP wide-angle camera, 2MP bokeh camera, and a 2MP macro.
