Aruba Instant On is a simple, secure Wi-Fi solution for SMBs

Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, has announced Aruba Instant On—a new family of secure wireless solutions targeted at small medium businesses (SMB). The Instant On family will initially include indoor/outdoor Wi-Fi access points (APs) designed for secure, high-speed wireless connectivity with hassle-free set-up and management.

The proliferation of mobile device and pervasiveness of cloud-based applications have created a need to deliver a seamless Wi-Fi experience comparable to that of large corporations. Small businesses are forced to rethink their networking requirements to stay competition, while grappling with growing and ever-changing user expectations, shifting major technology and trends, as well as limited IT resources.

According to IDC, “two-thirds of SMBs will have digital transformation as a key part of their IT strategies by the end of 2023.” The growing interest in digital transformation has placed new demands on SMB communications infrastructure including wireless LANs.

With the launch of Aruba Instant On, the company aims to alleviate the challenges and concerns faced by SMBs so that they can focus on business delivery and growth.

Aruba Instant On

The Instant On portfolio features Aruba’s industry-leading 802.11ac Wave 2 technology, which delivers a simple, easy-to-set-up solution that offers flexibility to scale.

It offers a simple, intuitive mobile app for easy set-up and management; with two management modes via the Instant On mobile app or cloud-based web portal.

Peace of mind is assured with best-in-class security built-in including compliance with the latest authentication protocols such as WPA2/WPA3.

The wireless solution also features Smart Mesh technology that allows for easy expansion of the network, especially at hard-to-wire areas.

It also offers a host of versatile application options including ceiling, wall mount and desktop, to suit different small business environments.

The first set of Aruba Instant On APs will ship in early July, with a list price starting at USD119.00 (local retail pricing is currently unavailable).
