Acer Day 2020 “Feel the Vibe” goes online

In view of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Acer Malaysia is celebrating Acer Day a little differently this year. No physical roadshows but no less exciting as it takes the fourth instalment of its annual celebration online this year. Themed “Feel the Vibe,” expect a plethora of games, promotion, lucky draw sessions, #FeeltheVibewithAcer challenge, and other rewarding activities. Acer is also making available its refreshed gaming notebooks—the Predator Helios 700 and Predator Helios 300 in conjunction with the celebration.

The Acer Day virtual event will be held on the Acer Malaysia Facebook page on 2 August 2020 at 3PM. Lined up are performances by Linora, Pong Pong and Cikidot, complementing the ultimate crowd favourite—lucky draw sessions.

Stand a chance to win prizes worth more than MYR22,000 including a Predator Helios 300 and a Predator Triton 700. To spread good vibes, Acer will also be hosting the Acer Bid & Shop charity auction session that aims to raise funds for Dignity for Children Foundation.

In addition, Acer is also hosting a three-day Super Brand Day on Shopee from 2-4 August 2020. Don’t miss out on exclusive limited time promotions, Massive Deal with 83 per cent of, and Shopee vouchers worth up to MYR200.

That aside, starting from 1 August until 30 September 2020, customers who purchase select Acer models from any Acer authorised online or offline retail shop will qualify for an entry to “Buy and Win Lucky Draw” and value-added gifts worth up to MYR500,000 in total.

All customers need to do is submit their receipt at www.a-redemption.com to claim their gifts and register their participation in the “Buy and Win Lucky Draw” that offers a prize pool worth more than MYR26,000.

Among the attractive prizes are Predator gaming notebooks, Acer Swift 7, monitor, and gaming headsets. Lucky winners will be chosen during the livestream on Acer Malaysia Facebook, which will also be cross-streamed on MasterRamen, ChuChu Gaming, Spartanker, and Alicia Tan Facebook pages in August and September 2020.

“Battle of the Series”: Acer Day “Feel the Vibe” kicks off with the “Battle of the Series” on 22 July 2020 that will allow Malaysians to vote for their favourite promotion packages on Acer Malaysia Facebook. The top voted promotion package will then be available as a limited-time offer at Acer Official Shopee Shop on 3 August 2020.
“5 Days Check-in Game” lets Acer fans redeem Acer Day Exclusive Merchandise by just participating in the daily task on www.a-redemption.com from 29 July 2020. No purchase is required for participation or to win.
#FeeltheVibeWithAcer challenge: All that is required to qualify and stand a chance to win the grand prize of a ConceptD 3 Pro and RM1,000 cash prize is to upload a short video onto Facebook or Instagram of the participant dancing to the “Feel The Vibe” song. Posts must include the hashtag #FeeltheVibeWithAcer, and tag @AcerMalaysia on Facebook or @my_acer on Instagram. The song will be available on TikTok starting 2 August 2020 onwards. No purchase is required to participate in this challenge. It will run from 2 August 2020 until 31 August 2020.

Predator Helios 700—the ultimate mobile gaming desktop replacement

Announced at the next@acer global press conference in late June, the Predator Helios 700 is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. Prices start from MYR12,999.

Featuring the iconic sliding HyperDrift keyboard and powered by either the overclockable 10^th Gen Intel Core i9-10980HK or i7-1087H processors, the gaming powerhouse comes with either the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super or RTX 2070 Super graphics.

The notebook is also the first and only Predator notebook to feature the new Predator PowerGem thermal solution. PowerGem is a special thermal interface material (TIM) designed with high efficiency in heat conduction, delivering 3.83x more vertical heat conductivity than copper.

Acer’s popular mid-range gaming notebook series now gets the latest 10^th Gen Intel Core H-series processors, overclockable NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with Max-Q Design and a 240Hz 15.6-inch FHD IPS display (3ms overdrive).
