To celebrate the year that was, over 60 top creators on YouTube got together and made a kick-ass Rewind video for everyone. And it’s fantabulous.

To celebrate the year that was, over 60 top creators on YouTube got together and made a kick-ass Rewind video for everyone. And it’s fantabulous.
In Malaysia, everyone donned fox costumes and went “Wa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pa-pow!”. Ylvis’ outstanding, perculiar “The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?) was the undisputed most watched video on YouTube in 2013. Following his success in 2012 with “Oppa Gangnam”, PSY made the charts again, topping the YouTube Malaysia music video charts this year with the super follow-up hit “Gentlemen”. Astro Gempak was YouTube Malaysia’s most subscribed channel, with over 500,000 subscribers.
The sickly-sweet but infectious Gwiyomi video was also a viral hit on YouTube Malaysia, and spawned numerous parodies and compilations, even from our own celebrities. Two Gwiyomi videos broke into the Top 10 list of trending videos on YouTube Malaysia.
Globally, The Fox video was viewed an astonishing 275 million times, the top trending video of 2013. Harlem Shake (original army edition) was second on the list. PSY’s “Gentlemen” and Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” were top trending in the music videos category.
