The 2018 iPad with Apple Pencil support is now available in Malaysia

2018 iPad 9.7

Several weeks ago, Apple unveiled the new 2018 iPad at its education-focused event in Chicago. From the offset it looks nothing different from the old iPad, which isn’t really a bad thing. The good stuff, of course, lies underneath. And the accessible price tag is a bonus. The good news? It’s now available in Malaysia.

Apple’s latest tablet rocks the same 9.7-inch IPS Retina Display (2014×1536 @ 264ppi) as its predecessor, and yes with the same bezels.

Here’s the big but. But… it now boasts Apple Pencil support, for the very first time, something only the much pricier iPad Pro had before.

This means students and more casual and budget-strapped users can make use of the brilliant Apple Pencil for writing, doodling, drawing and taking down notes.

Under the hood, it gets a beefed up A10 Fusion Chip with embedded M10 corprocessor and comes in 32GB and 128GB storage options.

Like its predecessor, it boasts up to 10 hours of battery life and it runs iOS 11 out-of-the-box.
