There has been plenty of leaks of the much-rumoured Sony “Honami” handset of late. Sony will be announcing the Honami during the upcoming IFA 2013 event. No official full specs as yet, but lo behold, a set of ‘official’ press images have surfaced.
The Sony Honami or Xperia Z1 as it is expected to be officially called, will feature a 5-inch display and powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, with 2GB RAM. This could be similar to the Xperia Z Ultra which sports the fastest ever Snapdragon processor yet, at 2.2Ghz.
What’s cool though would be the new camera module from Sony, a definite highlight of the Honami – a 20.7MP whopper, with f1/2.3. The device is also expected to sport Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
An event has been planned for September 4, where Sony is rumoured to unveil the Honami and other products including the QX Lens Camera.
