Yoodo offers free 1GB daily data; data can be rolled over

Yoodo free data MCO

In line with the initiative by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to support Malaysians during the Movement Control Order (MCO), Yoodo is providing all its users with free 1GB of internet data every day.

The offer builds upon the 100 percent digital telco’s currently running offer where all users get free 1GB data every Monday until 27 April 2020. This is to support Malaysians who are currently undergoing an extended MCO.

With the new offer, all active Yoodo users will enjoy 1GB of free data every day. This data can be used for anything from browsing the web, watching movies online, streaming music, instant messaging, social media, and tethering. The data can also be used at any time of the day.

What’s awesome is that any unused data from previous days can be rolled over until your plan renews/expires. This is not offered by any of the other telcos participating in the relief initiatives for COVID-19.

These relief initiatives come off the back of Yoodo’s second year anniversary in the business where it unveiled 20 announcements. One of the highlights is a new feature called Renew Anytime—which allows you to customise and renew your mobile plan at any time. Also, Power Pass, a flexible data booster than offers 100GB of data for 60mins at MYR2.

That aside, the telco also announced new data add-ons for TikTok, Viu and Call of Duty Mobile, expanding its portfolio of add-ons to 14. Yoodo has also brought back the highly-requested 20GB for MYR20 promotion, now available for all users.
