Xiaomi has been quite a disruptor in China and in markets it has entered into including Malaysia. It looks like there’s no stopping this emerging mobile giant, consistently selling out its stocks of its flagship Mi3 smartphone and Mi Power Bank almost as quick as you can pronounce “Xiaomi.” Well guess what, Malaysia is about to go ga-ga all over again. Xiaomi has announced a Summer Sale set to make many people happy (and many sad ones) tomorrow (17 June) – the Mi3 will be selling for RM769!
Expect your browser to seize up, your internet connection to mysteriously sputter out and the mi.com server to go bust. Who ever said online shopping was easy? Welcome to the wonderful world of (Mi.com) e-commerce.
The Chinese mobile internet company has reportedly allocated 7,000 units of Mi3 and 10,400 units of its Mi Power Banks (RM36) for the sale.
If you haven’t had success in buying any Mi products so far, perhaps tomorrow is a good time to try. Don’t forget to check out our buying guide here.
Good luck.
