Xiaomi Redmi Note 9

Following the introduction of Redmi Note 9S, Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro in Malaysia. The virtual launch is happening on 11 May 2020 and will be streamed live on Xiaomi Malaysia’s Facebook page.

The most affordable in the line-up, the Redmi Note 9 comes with a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS display and runs on the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, paired with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It is equipped with a quad-camera setup on the rear consisting of a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-lens camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It features a large 5,020mAh battery that supports fast-charging via USB-C. In the box, you will find a 22.5W fast charging power brick.

Redmi Note 9 Pro

The range-topping device shares similar underpinning with the Redmi Note 9S, including the 6.67-inch FHD+ display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. It is armed with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. The quad-camera system comprises a 64MP main shooter (an upgrade from the Note 9S’ 48MP), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It features the same 5,20mAh battery but supports higher 30W fast-charging via USB-C. A 33W fast-charging brick is bundled in the box. The device packs NFC support and comes with a headphone jack and IR blaster.
