Xiaomi opens third Authorised Mi Store in Malaysia at IOI City Mall

Xiaomi has opened its third Authorised Mi Store in Malaysia, this time round at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, in partnership with Vivid. This follows the opening of the KLCC store earlier last month. Additionally, Xiaomi also revealed the new Redmi 5A, priced at just MYR399.

The spanking new Xiaomi store is located at Level 2-36, IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. The opening of the new store demonstrates the company’s commitment to the Malaysia market.

The store showcases Xiaomi’s latest smartphones including the beautiful Mi Mix 2 and Redmi Note 5A Prime. For sale is also an array of Mi Ecosystem products including the Mi Band 2, Mi LED Desk Lamp, Mi Box, Mi Router 3, Mi Body Composition Scale, 90 Point Luggage, Mi Backpack, accessories, and more.

Some of the products including Mi Purifier, Mi Notebook and Mi Rice Cooker are “for display only.”

The opening day included special promotions for visitors. The first 100 customers who purchased a smartphone get a free Mi Band 2. Previously at the KLCC Store, Xiaomi offered a MYR113 rebate on purchases of any of its smartphones, for the first three opening days.

The first ever physical Mi Store in Malaysia is located at Queensbay Mall, Penang marking a huge shift in Xiaomi’s retail strategy.

If you’re around Putrajaya, pop by at IOI Mall to visit the Mi Store.
