U Mobile today unveiled a new prepaid SIM pack—Unlimited Funz—like its namesake promises unlimited data for what matters. And what matters for many of consumers out there is free unlimited data for gaming, social and messaging for the 10 most popular apps like PUBG Mobile, MLBB, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, WeChat, Facebook Messenger, Viber, and imo.
On paper, this new prepaid pack certainly looks good especially for mobile gamers and those who love social media and messaging.
The Unlimited Funz prepaid SIM pack costs MYR10 and it comes with MYR6 worth of preloaded credit, 200MB of high-speed internet data, free basic internet (capped at 64kbps and up to 1GB quota per month) and five-day validity (and 60-day passive period). You also get free on-net calls for the rest of the day after MYR1 has been deducted from your main credit balance.
Unlimited Funz compared to competitors:
To enjoy the unlimited data offering, you’ll only need to top up a minimum of MYR10 after activating the SIM. Not that the unlimited data cannot be used via mobile hotspot/tethering or MiFi/USB dongle.
You can also add on prepaid data plans like the excellent monthly GX30 data plan, weekly GX12 plan, monthly GT30 call plan or other daily/weekly data plans.
