Alongside the ultra-flexible ThinkPad P40 Mobile Workstation, Lenovo also introduced a powerful, compact workstation – the ThinkStation P410 Workstation to the Malaysian market. Also, it has debuted the ThinkVision X1 – the world’s thinnest 4K monitor.
ThinkStation P410 Workstation
Made for professionals in the manufacturing, building and construction, and entertainment industries, the ThinkStation P410 Workstation occupies a small desk footprint, yet delivers big performance. Certified to run Autodesk’s 3D software, it is perfect for 3D modelling, simulation and visualization tasks.
Its compact outlook hides powerful Intel Xeon processors (E5-1600 v4 or E5-2600 v4), NVIDIA Quadro M5000 graphics and up to 128GB DDR4 RAM underneath. The P410 has multiple storage devices interfaces – M.2, PCIe, SATA and SAS supporting up to 4 internal drives.
There’s built-in Gigabit Ethernet, WLAN 802.11ac (2×2), Bluetooth 4.0 (optional), USB 3.0, USB 2.0, 3.5mm mic/headphone jack, multi-format media card reader, and optional Thunderbolt 3.
For the environment-conscious, you’ll be chuffed to know that Lenovo is the only workstation vendor to be certified with GreenGuard Certification. GreenGuard uses performance-based, field validated standards to define products with low chemical and partical emissions. What does this all mean? Better indoor air quality.
The ThinkStation P410 runs Windows 10 Pro.
Alongside the ThinkStation, Lenovo also sneaked in the ThinkVision X1 – the worlds’s thinnest 4K monitor (3840×2160) with a built-in scanner. The 27-incher with a 100% sRGB colour gamut measures 7.5mm at its thinnest point. It offers a contrast ratio of 1300:1 with a max brightness of 300cd/m2 and 6ms refresh time (gray-to-gray).
It features HDMI 2.0 and Display Port 1.2 ports that supports UHD resolutions at 60Hz. Additionally, it comes packed with USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 3.0 hub, Full HD front camera, built-in mic and stereo speakers.
