What now? Come 25 February 2017 at EX8 Auditorium in Subang Jaya, you’ll find out – at TEDxYouth@KL. Be part of the 1,000-strong crowd at the TEDx event that’s set to be the greatest one yet.
As you know, TEDx is a string of local, self-organised events in the spirit of TED. Independently organised, TEDx features TEDTalks videos and live speakers, much like a TED event, only in smaller groups. Then again, “smaller” is relative. Locally, TEDxKL has grown to become the biggest in Southeast Asia, bringing over 2,000 minds together in one venue. TEDxYouth@KL is yet another derivative, and promises to be just as engaging and inspiring.
TEDxYouth@KL’s central theme of “What Now” comes from the basis of wanting to help young people figure out what we are today, and what we want to be tomorrow.
Just as we’ve experienced with TED for the past decade, speakers are as diverse as they come – from local talents, up-and-coming personalities and internationally acclaimed artists, all from different backgrounds.
At the upcoming TEDxYouth@KL 2017, the impressive line-up of speakers includes Journalist for Social Change Ian Yee, Advocate for Social Image Rozella Marie, Sumatran Rhino Conservationist John Payne, Experimental Musician Takahara Suiko and Ethical Fashion Activist Sasibai Kimi, just to name a few.
