SanDisk 256GB Extreme PRO USB flash drive delivers SSD-level speed and capacity

SanDisk Extreme Pro USB 3.1 Flash Drive

WD has introduced the 256GB SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash Drive – the fastest, high-capacity USB flash drive to date. The drive delivers speed, capacity and reliability of an SSD, while retaining a pocketable size.

The diminutive drive delivers read speeds of up to 420MB/s and write speeds of up to 380MB/s via its USB 3.1 interface. What does that mean? How about transferring a full length 4K movie to and from the drive in less than 15 seconds?

It features a durable aluminium metal casing and a retractable connector that not only looks good, but ensures reliability.

The drive includes SanDisk’s SecureAccess software which offers 128-bit file encryption and password protection.

Pricing and availability

The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.1 Solid State Flash Drive is available now in Malaysia, in 128GB and 256GB capacity. Prices are MYR469 and MYR769 respectively.
