As they say, the early bird gets the worm. And in the case of the OPPO F5 Red Edition smartphone, pre-order buyers are in for a bling surprise.
Partnering Swarovski, OPPO is rewarding early buyers of its latest F5 Red Edition model with a limited edition phone case that’s encrusted with Premium Swarovski crystals.
The glittering phone case will be part of a red limited edition gift box.
The special gift box will be limited to the first 1,000 lucky O-fans and buyers when it is open for pre-order at 12.30PM, 6 December 2017.
The other sweet surprise is that OPPO F5 ambassador Neelofa will be gracing the big launch on 6 December. She will also be doing a live unboxing of the device during the event.
The OPPO F5 Red Edition is OPPO’s first device with a “Full View” display race, coming in with a 6.0-inch FullHD+ screen with a 18:9 screen ratio.
The device is powered by a 16nm MediaTek Helio P23 processor (MTK6763T) and coupled with 6GB of RAM, with storage set at 64GB. You can expand storage via microSD.
To compare, the standard OPPO F5 features 4GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of storage.
In the camera department, it rocks a 16MP f/1.8 main shooter, while the front gets a massive 20MP f/2.0 shooter with AI beautification enhancement.
Keeping the device juiced is a 3,200mAh battery. It runs ColorOS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
