Pizza Hut is ushering the coming Ramadan and Raya celebrations with a unique ‘Citarasa Ramadan’ meal combo for family and friends. This includes the newly-concocted mouth-watering Sari Lautan Pizza.
The Sari Lautan Pizza fuses exotic asam pedas sauce topped with succulent prawns, tuna, crabsticks and cheese over Pizza Hut’s signature pan crust pizza. The Sari Lautan Pizza is available now for RM25.00 (regular) and RM34.00 (large) for a’la carte; or as part of the Citarasa Ramadan Combo meal that is available as a dine-in only option.
Citarasa 1 comprises one regular Sari Lautan Pizza, two soup-of-the-day, one Istimewa Platter, four pieces of Garlic Breadstix and two glasses of Mirinda Strawberry. All of just RM39.80 (a savings of RM19.00 over individually ordered items).
On the other hand, Citarasa 2 consists of one large Sari Lautan Pizza, four soup-of-the-day, one Istimewa Platter, four pieces of Garlic Breadstix, and one pitcher of Mirinda Strawberry. This combo is priced at RM59.80, a saving of RM16.20 over a’la carte.
Together with a party of bloggers, I got to sample the Citarasa Ramadan Combo meal plus some additional sides. The new limited edition hero – the Sari Lautan Pizza, was surprisingly delicious, with the asam pedas sauce working well with the pan crust. I say surprising because, for one, I’m impartial to thin crust pizzas. And, aside from the rare tuna or salmon with rocket toppings, I’m not very fond of seafood on pizzas. So that, says quite a lot.
The Istimewa Platter was a good starter, and I personally liked the Honey BBQ wings and drumettes. Our hosts also served us mushroom soup, rice with tempura prawns, grilled chicken, spaghetti bolognaise and an additional platter of tempura prawns. Burps.
The Istimewa Platter includes Honey BBQ wings and drumettes, juicy chicken meatballs with slices of capsicum and onions, served with crispy criss cut fries.
The new Sari Lautan Pizza is available for a limited duration of two months only, starting 20 June 2013, whilst stocks last.
